I took a picture of our family cat Holly last week with our old 75 mm camera.
She had been limping around lately... we were not sure how it happened. One day about a month ago we came home and she could barely walk. A very sad sight to see...
And then slowly it seemed to get better. So much so that last weekend while I was dancing around the kitchen singing to Billy Joel she jumped into an empty box that was laying in the entryway. I thought it was a sure sign she was feeling better. I ran and grabbed the camera to capture that moment....
Tonight Holly died suddenly.... we were all watching Spiderman 3 when she started having a seizure and fell on to the floor from the chair she had curled up in for the night. It took all of 3 or 4 minutes. Our black family friend labored her last breath....
I'm not going to tell anyone about her last portrait in the box... It will be a surprise when the film is developed. I think she would like it that way...
